Moscow, and Russia in general, is well-known for its alcoholic drinks, such as vodka.  

The most ancient beverage is Medovukha, a sweet, low-alcohol drink, made with fermented-honey with the addition of various spices. A stronger honey-based beverage, stavlenniy myod, also exists in Russia and is broadly equivalent to Scandinavian mead; it is typically made with the admixture of berry juices.

Despite the social and territorial differences traditional Russian clothes had one thing in common: they had to be put as a cape, from the head.

The traditional clothing is characterized by dress and sleeves getting wider to the lap and fabric decorated with symmetric pattern, or with other golden or silvery-like fabrics, furs and embroidery.

Moscow is a subject of the Russian Federation, a federal city, and the Russian capital. It has its own territory and population and it's home of the bodies of state and local governments.

It’s considered as the heart and soul of Russia.

-Moscow is divided in twelve administrative districts headed by one mayor, Sergey Sobyanin. It has a population of 11,510,097 inhabitants.

-It has four international airports, nine railway terminals and a very deep underground metro system.

 -Moscow hosts the country’s main theater, the Bolshoi Theater, as well as the oldest one, the Maly Theater.

Youth Games in 1998.
