Moscow

Moscow is a subject of the Russian Federation, a federal city, and the Russian capital. It has its own territory and population and it's home of the bodies of state and local governments.
It’s considered as the heart and soul of Russia.

General characteristics
-Moscow is divided in twelve administrative districts headed by one mayor, Sergey Sobyanin. It has a population of 11,510,097 inhabitants.

-It has four international airports, nine railway terminals and a very deep underground metro system.

 -Moscow hosts the country’s main theater, the Bolshoi Theater, as well as the oldest one, the Maly Theater.

-It hosted the Summer Olympic Games in 1980 and the World
Youth Games in 1998.

-It has very dad weaher with very low temperatures all the year.


-It's official language is Russian.


-Its federal city days are the first Saturday and Sunday of September.

-It has its own coat of arms, flag, and anthem.
